The way the Invisacook works is a lot like magic. Invisacook is an invisible induction cooktop that is mounted under your countertop. It uses electromagnetic waves to cook the contents of the pan but DOES NOT TRANSFER MUCH HEAT TO THE COUNTERTOP SURFACE. The Invisacook induction cooktop seems to work just like magic as it emits waves that cause your food to heat up but your cooktop remains touchable – safely. Cook on it then immediately afterwards you can use the countertop for serving food.

How many burners does the Invisacook have?

One of the great options for purchasing the Invisacook is that you can choose a single burner Invisacook, a 2-burner Invisacook, a 3-burner Invisacook, a 4-burner Invisacook, and even a 5-burner Invisacook.

These units can supplement your range or gas cooktop, OR you can completely replace your traditional cooktop with a 4-burner or 5-burner model.

Which Kitchen Countertop Options Are Suitable for Use with the Invisacook?

Counterspace is always at a premium, and allowing the cooking area to perform double-duty makes the most sense; however, not all countertop materials are suitable for an Invisacook.

The approved list of materials and brands is growing and includes both natural and man-made countertop surface options.

Which Kitchen Countertop Options Are NOT Suitable for Use with the Invisacook?

Unsuitable options include, but are not limited to:

  • Quartz

  • Materials with a High Nickel content will block the magnetic energy

  • Solid Surface, such a Corian

  • Wood

  • Marble, limestone

  • Paperstone or paper-based counters

  • Laminate or Formica Counters

  • Concrete

Where do you locate the Invisacook control panel?

The location of the Invisacook control panel is a personal choice.  It can be located in the countertop material, in the drawer below the cooktop or in a fixed panel inside the cabinet, depending on the design and construction of your cabinetry. We prefer the latter option because our cabinetry has the perfect sized fixed panel for this which we believe is the nicest and most functional solution.
