Interior Alchemy offers a variety of ways to work with us, depending on what services you need when designing your kitchen and bathroom.  Remodels are examples of complex projects because they require coordination of many stakeholders to successfully complete – client, designer, installers, suppliers, manufactures, plumbers, electricians, framers, drywallers, painters…you get the idea. If you are completely new to remodeling or using a designer, our Pricing Guide can help you understand what various kitchen remodel budgets could achieve.

Because of the complexity involved, we do not accept full-service kitchen design projects where the total amount the client is willing to invest on their kitchen remodel is below $50,000 (for appliances, countertops, cabinetry, fixtures, installation, etc.). We can, however, help clients with layout and design, or portions of a kitchen project, even if your budget is below the full-service threshold.

A mid-level kitchen remodel with average finishes and appliance packages typically require client investments of $50,000 – $90,000.

If you have not planned to set aside an amount within or above this range, you will probably find greater satisfaction in using in-house designers at stores like Home Depot and IKEA.

However, if you are just craving a redesign to improve your kitchen’s functionality, maybe remove a wall, and you have a budget within or above that range, then your best bet, to gain the most value from your remodel is to hire an interior designer who will take the time to customize your space to exactly how you and your family function.
